Essential Duties
- Originate new business opportunities for industrial asset liquidation, auctions, and related services
- Actively market the industrial liquidation solutions practice as well as the firm’s full suite of capabilities to corporate clients, plant managers, lenders, private equity firms, and restructuring advisors
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline through direct outreach, industry events, and existing relationships
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating asset sales, plant closures, and distressed situations
- Collaborate closely with internal liquidation teams, appraisal groups, and other business development professionals to deliver integrated solutions
- Travel regularly to meet clients, attend site visits, and represent the firm in the field
- Stay informed on market trends, industry activity, and competitive dynamics
Skills and Experience
- 15+ years of experience in business development, asset disposition, industrial auctions, restructuring, or a related field
- Established network within relevant channels, including corporate operators, plant leadership, lenders, private equity, and advisory firms
- Demonstrated ability to originate and close complex deals
- Strong understanding of industrial assets, valuation, and liquidation processes is preferred
- Highly self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently while collaborating across teams
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel frequently
