Director, Brand & Content Marketing
About the role
Because health is personal. That's why Personify Health created the first and only personalized health platform—bringing health plan administration, holistic wellbeing solutions, and comprehensive care navigation together in one place. We serve employers, health plans, and health systems with data-driven solutions that reduce costs while actually improving health outcomes. Together, our team is on a mission to empower people to lead healthier lives.
At Personify Health, we value and celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We believe in creating teams made up of individuals with various backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Because diversity inspires innovation, collaboration, and challenges us to produce better solutions. But more than this, diversity is our strength, and a catalyst in our ability to #changelivesforgood.
Responsibilities
- Content strategy and creation: Build and run the content strategy for our wellbeing and health platform story, tied to the 2027 go-to-market priorities. Personally write and edit high-visibility pieces: executive thought leadership, bylines, key narratives, web and campaign copy. Build editorial calendars and a repeatable content engine that serves sales, marketing, and product. Turn complex health and benefits topics into clear, useful content for HR leaders, benefits buyers, brokers, and consultants.
- Brand and social leadership: Manage the brand manager and social media manager, setting priorities, giving real feedback, and developing their skills. Keep voice, tone, and visual identity consistent across every channel and partner. Shape an organic social presence that supports pipeline and executive visibility.
- Product marketing partnership and message continuity: Work hand in hand with product marketing to connect brand-level and division-level messaging to the product story, so a buyer hears the same thing at every stage. Ensure mid-funnel and bottom-of-funnel product content (solution briefs, case studies, sales enablement, demos, and web pages) carries the same narrative, proof points, and tone as top-of-funnel brand content. Set shared messaging frameworks and review practices with product marketing, so new launches and updates land consistently without slowing teams down. Spot gaps and conflicts between brand, division, and product content early, and resolve them with the owners.
- Marcom and campaign support: Partner with demand generation and client marketing so messaging lands the same way in every program. Provide messaging and content support for launches, events, and customer-facing materials.
- Agency management and communications support: Co-own the PR agency relationship with the VP of Integrated Marketing. Run day-to-day direction, review work, and track results, while the VP stays closely involved in strategy, scope, and commercial decisions. Keep the agency proactive: set priorities, bring them the message and platform news they need, and hold them to the plan. Support executive and internal communications as needed, including leadership messaging and company announcements. Help coordinate media and analyst opportunities with the agency, and prepare spokespeople when needed.
- Measurement: Track what content and communications actually move, including engagement, share of voice, and pipeline influence, and adjust fast.
What success looks like
- First 30–45 days: Audited content and brand across the funnel, built a content plan tied to the 2027 priorities, agreed on a shared messaging framework with product marketing, and set a clear working rhythm with the agency and your team.
- By six months: Strong thought leadership and campaign content is flowing, and a buyer sees the same story on our website, in a sales conversation, and in the press.
- By year end: Measurable movement in visibility and pipeline influence, and the team is sharper for having worked with you.
