Director, Benefit Services
About the Role

The Director of Benefit Services will lead the optimization and delivery of Aramark’s U.S. benefits technology ecosystem, supporting a diverse workforce across stadiums, hospitals, schools, and more. This role involves strategy, design, administration, and compliance of health & welfare and retirement programs, as well as other benefit initiatives. Based at Aramark’s Global Headquarters in Philadelphia.
Responsibilities
- Align benefit strategies with overall Total Rewards, HR, and business objectives.
- Support the Vice President of Benefits in developing short- and long-term retirement, health, welfare, and wellbeing strategies and plan designs.
- Resolve complex benefit issues independently and collaboratively with the Benefits Team.
- Implement and enforce Benefits processes and programs, including market competitiveness reviews, governance, and financial analysis.
- Prepare reporting on key metrics related to benefits strategy and operations.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders (HR, payroll, finance, legal) to support company and department goals.
- Lead RFP processes for vendor selection and new program implementations.
- Provide consultative expertise, advice, and guidance on benefits matters to the Vice President of Benefits.
- Assist employees, including executives, by explaining benefits plan details and pricing structures.
- Evaluate costs and benefits of key programs (e.g., wellness, life/disability insurance, employee assistance, discount programs).
- Build strong relationships across the organization to align benefits strategies with business and HR goals.
- Coordinate renewals with internal/external resources, including market competitiveness studies, remarketing, cost-effective plan design, and regulatory compliance.
- Foster wellbeing and rewards programs that connect employees to the company and community.
- Assist with policy management, communication, and structure of vacation, PTO, and time-away initiatives.
- Stay current on Federal and State regulations affecting employee benefits.
- Manage vendor relationships on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related technical benefits functional experience.
- 15+ years of related experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong analytical and technical skills; ability to perform independent in-depth analysis and present findings.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Outstanding organizational ability, attention to detail, and deadline-driven prioritization.
- Proven ability to develop and implement program/process improvements and efficiencies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple priorities while transitioning between tactical and strategic work.
CEBS certification preferred.
