Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes business plans for behavioral health services.
  • Manages operational areas to ensure excellence in service delivery.
  • Integrates psychiatric and mental health services within the context of acute medical care.
  • Works closely with AC leaders and medical staff to provide an inclusive approach to care.
  • Serves as the administrative dyad to the child and adolescent division chief and the chief psychologist.
  • Promotes the AC mission and expansion of psychiatric and mental health services.
  • Identifies and develops programs and services to meet the needs of patients with psychiatric and mental health conditions and their families.
  • Maintains current knowledge of psychiatric and mental health conditions and related legislation and policy.

Requirements

  • RN Preferred
  • High school diploma or GED and 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Formal education may substitute for work experience on a year-for-year basis (eg., one year of education = one year of experience).
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license - Arkansas or Compact State.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.

  • Knowledge of psychiatric and mental health conditions and related legislation and policy.
