About the Role
The Director of Behavior Supports, Clinical Services, provides evidence-based behavioral supports for adults with developmental disabilities. These supports include a comprehensive assessment of challenging behavior(s), development of a structured behavioral modification plan, implementation of the plan, ongoing training, and periodic reassessment of the plan.
Responsible for implementing Behavioral Supports Activities, including behavioral assessment, development of behavior support plans, implementation of behavior plans, use of evidence-based practices, staff training, periodic reassessment of behavioral plans, and monitoring of behavioral plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of challenging behaviors
- Develop structured behavioral modification plans
- Implement behavior support plans
- Train staff on evidence-based practices
- Periodically reassess and monitor behavioral plans
- Supervise behaviorists and conduct staff evaluations
Requirements
- Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or social work
- Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification
- Acquisition of an LBA or LaBA license within 90 days of hire
- Experience in developmental disabilities or behavior support
- Some supervisory experience

This position requires duties in indoor and/or outdoor settings where exposure to weather elements, dirt, dust, unpleasant smells, and/or loud noises may occur, including occasional temperature fluctuations. Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, sit, move, traverse, kneel, bend, reach, carry (up to 35 pounds), squat, and drive a 6-person passenger van
- Operate manual devices such as hydraulic lifts, wheelchair lifts, and vehicle doors for transporting service recipients
- Dexterity to access, key, and sort electronic information or file documents
- Ability to view computer/electronic devices for extended periods
- Apply Agency Training Crisis Management Verbal and Physical Techniques during a crisis as trained and in accordance with agency policies
