About the role

CBS News 24/7, the digital streaming operation from CBS News, is seeking a San Francisco-based Freelance AR/VR ELC Director.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in and out of the control room fulfilling production needs as assigned.
• Work with the 24/7 editorial and production teams to execute an error-free production in an ELC automated control room environment.
• Code assigned newscasts and run through portions of the show with crew and talent before going to air to help ensure a crisp production is delivered.
• Works with the 24/7 editorial and production teams to execute an error-free production in an ELC automated control room environment.
• Briefly describe the responsibilities related to the virtual studio space and the use of AR/VR technology.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in live news production is required.
• Previous Control Room Automation use is desired, Sony ELC experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of iNews preferred.
• Able to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Must be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude & leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities a must.
• Excellent people and communication skills needed.
• Good conflict resolution and problem-solving skills are a must.

Qualifications

• Experience in live news production is required.
• Previous experience with Control Room Automation, particularly Sony ELC, is preferred.
• Knowledge of iNews is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment is essential.

Paramount Streaming offers a competitive salary range of $50.00 - 57.00 per year, depending on various job-related factors such as geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
