Director Analytics & Insights
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with the business managers and clients in the development of strategic plans for managing their portfolios within the assigned Customers.
- Develop and present strategic and compelling data-driven sales presentations directed towards generating increased sales at the assigned Customers in partnership with the Acosta Group sales team and Client.
- Serve as subject matter expert in all available data including but not limited to syndicated third party POS and Panel data, customer loyalty data, syndicated data, internal data and systems to generate information in support of strategic discussions.
- Manages and develops insights and reporting for multiple clients at assigned Customers across multiple categories.
- Develops and shares best practices. Streamlines and develops templates to help standardize best in class analyses across the sales team.
- Manages, provides mentoring and training functions and assigns the daily activities for one analyst on the Business Insights team.
- Stay current with all client, customer and consumer trends.
Qualifications
- Have a high degree of proficiency in multiple business applications including Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, NIQ Discover/ Circana Unify, NIQ Spectra/ Circana ShopperSights.
- Be curious about drivers of business performance and have a track record of leveraging information to influence merchants into action.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate flexibility and agility, and be able to respond to change, accept ambiguity and adapt to new situations quickly.
