Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Analytics Engineering team, maintaining critical reporting while setting technical direction
- Own and develop a unified data transformation model for product and enterprise data
- Establish a certified contextual layer to ensure safe data access for analytics activities
- Drive migration of logic from middleware to certified models developed by the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute data initiatives
- Act as a senior partner to business units, translating needs into scalable analytics solutions
- Set and uphold engineering standards including modeling conventions and code quality
- Remain hands-on in modeling, debugging SQL/dbt code, and resolving complex data issues
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in data analytics or engineering or 8+ years with an advanced degree
- Hands-on expertise in data curation, transformation, and dimensional/medallion data modeling on cloud stacks
- Prominent experience in both product/behavioral and enterprise data modeling
- Strong current technical skills in AI applications within data processes
- Leadership experience guiding senior engineers through significant platform transitions
- Solid understanding of data warehousing architecture and governance standards
- Experience in creating AI-ready semantic/contextual layers
