About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director AML And Fraud Analytics & Reporting to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a regulated financial services environment.

Location & Compensation

Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $123,750 – $210,000 annually.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage data, metrics, and reporting for effective AML and Fraud risk management
  • Analyze transaction and forensic data to evaluate trends and recommend resolutions
  • Develop reporting and analytics to support financial crime risk management activities
  • Implement analytic capabilities to monitor and manage risk effectively
  • Create procedures for quality control and documentation for audits
  • Facilitate relationships with internal and external partners for information sharing
  • Design analytical programs and tools for performance monitoring metrics

Qualifications

  • 9+ years of risk management/controls experience, preferably in AML and fraud
  • Strong knowledge of operational risk management principles and governance, especially in financial services
  • Advanced data management framework and transformation expertise
  • Proficient in analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, Python
  • Ability to engage with auditors and regulators effectively
  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities
  • Proven skills in process, workflow, and risk assessment
