Director, AI Platform & Transformation

We are seeking a Director, AI Platform & Transformation to shape the enterprise AI platform strategy and guide the transformation of AI capabilities across a leading healthcare organization. The role will prioritize high‑impact opportunities, move initiatives from discovery through production, and partner closely with Data and Engineering to deliver scalable, usable solutions. It also establishes reliability and performance standards while driving AI adoption across the business. This position is remote, U.S.‑based only (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Define the AI platform and transformation roadmap.
• Prioritize AI opportunities across business areas.
• Lead initiatives from discovery to production launch.
• Architect and scale AI applications using advanced technologies.
• Collaborate with Data and Engineering to improve data product usability.
• Establish standards for AI system reliability and performance.
• Grow teams and drive AI adoption across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and scaling AI software products for large audiences.
• Experience designing large‑scale machine learning infrastructure.
• 4+ years developing and deploying AI and generative AI systems.
• 3+ years building AI applications with large language models (LLMs).
• Hands‑on experience with AI systems using vLLM, Ray, and MCP.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and related technologies.
• Experience in healthcare decision‑support AI products.

Pay

Compensation: $218,000 – $284,000 annually.
