Director, AI & HPC Solution Architecture (Customer Facing)

About the role

This role is focused on leading the technical sales cycle for a prominent organization in the Earth data and advanced technology sector. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions tailored for scientific and AI workloads. Your expertise will directly influence customer confidence and the overall success of the company's offerings, ensuring they meet market demands and technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical sales cycle from opportunity qualification to contract signature, enhancing customer confidence.
• Design scalable, secure solutions for high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, and managed services.
• Translate market feedback into actionable portfolio enhancements and technical standards to align with customer needs.
• Collaborate with various teams including sales, engineering, and product management to ensure solution viability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related scientific field.
• At least 10 years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, technical sales, or HPC/cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of HPC and AI infrastructure, with hands-on experience in relevant technologies.
• Experience with proposal writing, RFP responses, solution costing, and financial modeling.
