Responsibilities
- Build and manage the shared AI infrastructure and standard AI stack
- Establish governance council and implement guardrails for security and quality
- Set AI Center of Excellence priorities in collaboration with other departments
- Define metrics for assessing AI impact and report progress
- Create centralized training libraries and enablement programs for teams
- Oversee a centralized-expertise, decentralized-execution operational model
- Recruit and develop the Center of Excellence team, including AI engineers and administrators
Qualifications
- 12+ years in technology, data, or product roles; 5+ years in leadership positions with proven operational impact
- Hands-on experience with AI/machine learning systems; familiarity with AI tooling, agentic systems, and large language models
- Deep expertise in AI infrastructure, data, and security requirements for production AI
- Strong governance instincts to implement security, privacy, and quality measures that facilitate fast team execution
- Prominent track record in organizational influence, capable of building coalitions across all levels
- Metrics-driven mindset with a commitment to transparent progress reporting
- Experience in developing impactful enablement and training programs
