Director, AI & Automation Engineering

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain AI & automation strategy aligned with Medicare Advantage priorities
• Lead the development of a high-performing AI & Automation Engineering team
• Drive the design and implementation of enterprise-scale automation solutions
• Establish best practices for AI platforms and automation tools integration
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver measurable business impact
• Ensure compliance with responsible AI frameworks and regulatory standards
• Manage operational budgets and vendor partnerships

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in software engineering, data science, or AI/ML roles; 3-5 years in a senior leadership position
• Track record of delivering large-scale AI/ML systems and automation solutions
• Experience leading diverse engineering teams; talent management background
• Deep knowledge in machine learning, NLP, generative AI, and intelligent automation
• Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships in tech domains

Pay

$172,364 – $258,547 annually
