Director AI & Automation

As a full-time Director of AI & Automation at SIXT, you’ll be at the heart of Corporate Development, owning the AI and automation deployment funnel and rapidly building automation workflows. You’ll manage data connections, support Project Managers on technical implementation, and enable cross-functional teams to turn process documentation into deployed solutions.

Your Role at SIXT

• Support Corporate Development by owning and operating the deployment funnel for all AI & automation solutions
• Manage automation workflow development, data source connections, and ensure governance and data integrity
• Liaise with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to translate process documentation into technical solutions
• Maintain reusable data models, optimize query performance, and uphold data quality across automation workflows
• Receive and apply AI-powered coding assistants and prompt engineering tools to accelerate development and streamline workflows
• Assist with deep-dive analyses, impact assessments, and documentation for automation solutions and business outcomes

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional work experience, including hands-on experience with data and automation, and demonstrated progression
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Data Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Advanced SQL skills, experience with AI-powered development tools (Cursor, Claude Code), enterprise automation platforms, APIs, and data pipelines
• Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Systems-oriented, automation-minded, and able to manage your own priorities with a self-directed approach
• Familiarity with workflow automation platforms (n8n, Zapier), Python or R, prompt engineering, data governance, and cloud data platforms (preferred)
