Job Summary

Auburn Advancement is seeking a Director, Advancement Business Systems to lead the CRM and related programs. The successful candidate will manage, administer, and set direction for the Advancement CRM, its integrations, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a knowledgeable Advancement leader, supporting all areas of the Advancement team.
  • Leads a team in managing the Advancement CRM, associated integrations, reporting, and related tools to support Advancement operations.
  • Works closely with external implementation partners to ensure ongoing maintenance, training, and CRM development.
  • Develops cross-campus partnerships to share Advancement data and optimize a robust data storehouse.
  • Collaborates with Advancement leaders and staff to develop and expand CRM strategic objectives.
  • Led collaborative discussions and planning to identify areas of CRM optimization and develop solutions to meet business needs.
  • Directs CRM enhancement rollouts and works with the Data Insights team to maximize data integrity.
  • Collaborates with Advancement IT to develop and implement CRM-related projects and activities.
  • Maintains a secure CRM environment through access controls and confidentiality protocols.
  • Communicates CRM changes to stakeholders and provides change management oversight to improve CRM use and modern business processes.
  • Trains the team on leading practices and maximizing CRM use.
  • Maintains a strong commitment to protecting data and systems, and staying informed about industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7 years of experience in advancement strategic initiatives, project management, CRM system administration, data analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in CRM system administration and data analysis.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams.
  • Excellent communication and change management skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
