About the role
This role will own compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that help attract, retain, and motivate talent at scale. You will partner with sales leadership, HR centers of excellence, and cross-functional stakeholders to align talent priorities with commercial execution. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen pay practices, improve program governance, and create more consistent outcomes across the organization within a regulated financial services environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and enhancement of actuarial pricing methodologies and tools for Underwriting, Product, and Sales teams
- Update pricing model parameters for improved accuracy and efficiency, including loss development and credibility refreshes
- Foster connections with teammates and business partners to analyze profitability and address business issues
- Support the production implementation of pricing initiatives
- Stay informed about broader industry trends and perspectives
Requirements
- FCAS preferred, but not required
- 5+ years of actuarial experience with a proven record of success
- Prior Workers' Compensation experience a plus, but not required
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Knowledge of actuarial pricing and reserving techniques
- Strong technical/analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel; experience with R/SQL preferred
- General knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance operations
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Independently motivated with a focus on value addition
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate and influence across levels
Pay
$136,000 – $204,000 annually
