Director Actuary

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of actuaries and students while enhancing their skills through coaching and development
• Develop and manage pricing for premium rates and analyze profitability against assumptions
• Conduct experience studies to assess risk and profitability trends using various data sources
• Collaborate with sales and marketing on new product design and financial analysis for profitability
• Provide strategic guidance using quantitative analysis to support cross-departmental business needs

Qualifications

• Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
• Experience with GGY AXIS preferred
• Strong preference for group or individual life pricing experience
• Demonstrated business acumen in pricing design and strategy
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Pay

$147,750 – $236,000 annually
