About the role

As Director, Accounting at Conga, you will lead the global accounting function, overseeing the integrity and accuracy of the company’s financial reporting, close processes, and compliance framework. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations while continuing to build scalable processes that support a high-growth SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global accounting function, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting and compliance framework.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and develop scalable processes for a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Partner closely with Finance, FP&A, Legal, and business leaders to ensure alignment between operational activities and financial outcomes.
  • Guide the team and contribute to key deliverables such as month-end close, audits, and technical accounting matters.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles within a SaaS or technology-driven organization.
  • Strong expertise in US GAAP, financial reporting, and managing the month-end and quarter-end close processes.
  • Experience leading teams and developing talent.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; CPA strongly preferred.
  • Experience in SaaS accounting, including familiarity with revenue recognition (ASC 606), subscription models, and billing integrations is highly preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite (or similar).
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and consolidation tools.
  • Experience partnering with FP&A systems (Adaptive, Anaplan, etc.) is a plus.
  • Proven experience leading annual audits and working with external auditors.
  • Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance scalability and efficiency.
  • Experience shortening close cycles and improving reporting accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with Billing, AR, Legal, FP&A, and business stakeholders.
  • High level of precision and accountability, operating with a solutions-oriented mindset and leveraging relationships, tools, and insights across the organization to drive results.

Pay

Limited to $157,310 - $251,700 USD
