Director, Accounting and Financial Advisory Services

This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a Legal & Accounting environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior advisor with deep technical expertise
• Lead advisory engagements on complex accounting topics like revenue recognition and consolidations
• Advise clients on accounting policy development and remediation of material weaknesses
• Build relationships with CFOs, Controllers, and Audit Committees
• Drive thought leadership in emerging accounting topics and regulatory guidance
• Mentor and develop high-performing teams fostering innovation and technical excellence
• Support business development and collaborate cross-functionally for end-to-end solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or related field; Master's preferred
• CPA required; CFA or other certifications are a plus
• 10+ years of experience in accounting advisory, preferably from Big 4 or top-tier consulting
• Proven experience leading complex engagements and managing senior client relationships
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver solutions in fast-paced environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and confidentiality

Pay

$215,950 – $409,420 annually
