Sodexo's growing Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Division is seeking an HTM Director for Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, CA. This role involves managing various medical devices, supervising technical teams, and tracking performance measures.

About the role

Take on a vital role in maintaining and advancing cutting-edge medical technology that directly supports patient care and clinical excellence. You will leverage technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity readiness while collaborating with clinical teams and mentoring colleagues. This position is accountable for managing people, setting direction, deploying resources, and making performance evaluations, pay reviews, and hiring/firing decisions. Results are achieved through the work of others, requiring strong influence and negotiation skills across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight, hiring, onboarding, and continuous development of all clinical and technical staff to ensure high performance, retention, and career growth.
  • Lead capital planning, project management, and technology assessments to support operational efficiency and innovation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients, fostering strong partnerships through proactive communication and service excellence.
  • Manage purchasing, subcontracts, and financial planning to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management to optimize supply chain and service delivery.
  • Drive organic sales growth by identifying new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and expanding service offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including CIHQ, DNV, and TJC.
  • Apply solution-oriented approaches and critical thinking to resolve complex issues and conflicts.
  • Maintain a professional presence and engage confidently with executive leadership and clinical staff for program management and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of clinical devices.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (CIHQ, DNV, TJC).
  • Proven business acumen and financial management expertise.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams with a focus on mentoring and development.

Pay

Pay range: $120,190 – $155,540 per year. Eligible to participate in Sodexo's incentive plan for variable compensation in addition to base salary.
