Sodexo’s HTM Division seeks an energetic HTM Director to lead clinical technology operations at Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa, a 562-bed nonprofit facility featuring a senior-friendly ER, comprehensive stroke center, orthopedic surgery, behavioral health, and critical care.

About the role

Take on a vital role in maintaining and advancing cutting-edge medical technology that directly supports patient care and clinical excellence. You will leverage your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity readiness while collaborating closely with clinical teams and mentoring colleagues.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction, and deploying resources, including performance evaluations, pay reviews, and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and depend on your ability to influence and negotiate across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight, hiring, onboarding, and continuous development of all clinical and technical staff to ensure high performance, retention, and career growth.
  • Lead capital planning, project management, and technology assessments to support operational efficiency and innovation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients, fostering strong partnerships through proactive communication and service excellence.
  • Manage purchasing, subcontracts, and financial planning to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management to optimize supply chain and service delivery.
  • Drive organic sales growth by identifying new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and expanding service offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of clinical devices.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance standards including CIHQ, DNV, and TJC.
  • Skilled in applying solution-oriented approaches and critical thinking to resolve complex issues.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering exceptional service and building long-term partnerships with customers, staff, and vendors.
  • Proven business acumen and financial management expertise.
  • Extensive experience leading high-performing teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
  • Professional presence and ability to engage confidently with executive leadership.

Pay

Base salary range: $120,190 – $155,540 per year. Eligible to participate in Sodexo’s incentive plan for variable compensation in addition to base salary.
