Directional Drill Locator
Responsibilities
- Operating directional drill locating equipment and product support equipment
- Safely operates drill equipment on job site which may include but not limited to the following: Directional Drill, Backhoe/Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer (Moving Equipment / Haul Water), Vacuum Truck/Trailer
- Reads utility, locates and coordinates day lighting of these facilities
- Restores and/or landscapes disturbed areas of the job site
- Responsible for the site set-up and clean-up
- Load and unload tools, materials and equipment on truck
- Will be involved in new site Job Safety Analysis - JSA prior to starting construction
- Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic
- May be required to work overtime; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed
- Able to follow instruction
Qualifications
- Directional Drill Locating: 1 year
- A valid driver's license is required for most positions
- On-call and weekend availability
- Falcon F5 experience preferred
- CDL A
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Understanding of basic utility construction processes and terminology a plus
Additional Information
Hourly Range: $25 - $33
Hourly, based on experience
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday - Friday & Night Shift, Sunday - Thursday
Travel Requirements: 100%
Role Openings: 2
Target Start Date: 2-3 weeks from offer
