Development and Intellectual Disabilities Services (DDA) at Sheppard Pratt offer programs devoted to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including residential programs that provide homes and person-centered supports. The Odyssey Residential Program provides single-family homes throughout the Frederick community to approved individuals.

- Sunday: 9a–5p
- Monday: 3p–11p
- Tuesday: 3p–11p
- Wednesday: OFF
- Thursday: OFF
- Friday: OFF
- Saturday: OFF
Responsibilities
- Facilitate client involvement in meaningful activities of daily life to support their overall mental health and wellbeing.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgement with general supervision after training and ongoing experience.
- Facilitate client participation in therapeutic and social group activities by developing an understanding of what motivates them individually.
- Implement individual client care plans to meet client needs and goals.
- Provide transportation and attend clients’ medical appointments.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Positively referenced relevant work, student, or volunteer experience.
- An active, non-provisional driver’s license with 3-points or less and access to an insured vehicle.
