Direct Support Supervisor

About the role

ResCare Community Living, a part of the Sevita family, provides quality services that empower individuals, enhance independence, and help people live well. Since 1974, we’ve supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently at home and in their community. This Site Supervisor role is based in Corinth/Denton, TX and involves facilitating Individual Service Plans (ISP), supervising a team of Caregivers, and providing direct support to individuals served.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP)
• Participate in administrative duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight
• Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals in the program
• Provide direct support to individuals receiving services including assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care
• Balance duties between providing direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work or other activities

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year related work experience
• Must be 18 years or older
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
• Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with team members and those we serve
• Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained

Requirements

• Current driver's license with 1 year driving history without restrictions

Pay

$10.00 per hour with opportunities for approved overtime.

Schedule

Full-time, split shift: Monday–Friday 6:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., plus on-call rotation.
