Direct Support Recovery Worker

The role involves providing direct support to individuals in recovery from substance abuse. Responsibilities include facilitating therapy sessions, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring safety and comfort of clients.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate therapy sessions according to client needs and treatment plans.
• Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Document client progress and communicate with supervisors and other team members as needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals in recovery from substance abuse.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Knowledge of substance abuse treatment principles and practices.
• Passion for helping others and commitment to the field of recovery support.

Skills

Pay
