Direct Support Professional // Weekend Overnight

About the role

We are hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are professional, energetic, and nurturing. You will provide hands-on support to individuals in their homes as they work on daily activities and long-term goals. This includes activities such as meal preparation, enhancing social skills, providing companionship, community outings, and more.

Requirements

• Pass a fingerprint criminal background check
• Pass a child abuse and neglect check
• Pass a drug screen (excluding THC)
• Show proof of high school completion or equivalent
• Show residency for the past 2 years
• Show current and original documents verifying identity and legal work eligibility in the US
• Show two verifiable employment references from the past 3 years

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license and willingness to drive company vehicles

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and best practices in support services

Pay

• Base rate: $19/hour
• $21.60-24.60/hour if certified to administer medication (training provided if not certified)

Schedule

• If Part-Time (34 hours per week): Friday: 11 PM – 9 AM, Saturday: 9 PM – 9 AM, Sunday: 9 PM – 9 AM
• If Full-Time (40 hours per week): Friday: 11 PM – 9 AM, Saturday: 9 PM – 9 AM, Sunday: 9 PM – 9 AM, A 6-hour shift on the same day each week, usually 4 PM – 10 PM
