Direct Support Professional (Shoreline)

As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in empowering adults with developmental disabilities to live full, meaningful lives. You'll support individuals in developing essential life skills, help them maintain independence in their own homes, and encourage their active participation as valued members of the community.

About the role

This is a "Relief" position. You will not have regularly scheduled hours, but will work intermittently as available/needed. No experience required: we will provide all the training you need.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Clear criminal history and pass a background check
• At least 18 years or older
• Currently have or obtain within 30 days of being hired: CPR/First Aid license (paid by Service Alternatives)
• Current driver license, car, and car insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• Current NAR/CNA certification
• Current 75-hour certification (Long-Term Care Worker) or exemption letter

Pay

Starting wage: $21.95–$22.95 per hour
