About the role

At Out of the Box Solutions, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live more independent and fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
• Help clients engage in the community and attend events
• Follow and assist with care plans and personal goals
• Communicate with families and colleagues
• Complete necessary documentation and notes
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times

Requirements

• Age 18+
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Pass all state-required background checks and meet ODDS employment eligibility requirements
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willingness to obtain
