Direct Support Professional - Respite Care Part Time Day, or Overnight- Mapaville

About the role

Pony Bird, Inc. is looking for Direct Support Professionals - MA1 for their new Respite Program in Mapaville. This position focuses on providing respite supports with dignity and respect and supporting individuals with developmental, physical, and medical needs.

Responsibilities

- Provide direct care if an individual does not possess the skill necessary to complete the task or to meet the need. - Demonstrate warmth, insight, interest, and respect for individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

- High School diploma / GED - Complete required training classes within DMH/Licensure timelines. - Maintain First Aid/ CPR/ AED certification and other DMH/Licensure training/certification requirements through the duration of employment. - Successfully complete the Pony Bird Level I Medication Aide program approved by the State of Missouri for medication administration, having an acceptable score on the written and clinical examinations and having received certification as Medication Aide.

Schedule and Hourly Rates

- Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Hrly Rate: $20.00/hr - Overnight Shift: 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Hrly Rate: $21.00/hr - Schedules include every other weekend.
