Direct Support Professional, Respite - Part Time

Essential Requirements

• 18 years of age or older

Responsible Duties

Provide hourly relief for parents
Provide care to children in their own homes
Provide a fun and safe environment for the young person
Use and implement the 5 core values of Trauma-Informed Care in all work practices - Safety, Trustworthiness, Choice, Collaboration, & Empowerment.

Qualifications

• Compassionate
• Reliable
• Enjoy working with young people

Skills

• Personal hygiene care experience (preferred)
• College student working towards a degree in social work or educational field (preferred)
• Understanding and empathy of special health needs in children (preferred)
