Direct Support Professional Residential- PART TIME- Capital Region
About the role
This is a part-time benefit-eligible position offering various shifts across different locations in the Capital Region.
Responsibilities
- Cooking
- Doing laundry
- Ran errands
- Teach people with disabilities how to do things on their own
- Taking individuals to appointments and activities
- Writing notes as needed
- Helping individuals with tasks like cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping, and managing money
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications
- A valid NYS license and clean driving record
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs

The position is benefit eligible.
Pay
Pay range: $18.75-$24.30/hr based on verifiable direct care experience
Schedule
- Schenectady: 9am-9pm Fridays and Saturdays (20 hours)
- Schenectady: 5PM on Fridays through 8PM on Saturdays; (20 hours +7 hours overnight paid at the asleep rate)
- Schenectady: Sunday, 6pm-11pm Monday, 6pm-11pm Tuesday (20 hours)
- Schenectady: Thursday: 11AM - 9PM, Friday: 11AM - 9PM, Saturday: 11AM - 5PM (26 hours)
- Schenectady: Monday: 8am-4pm, Tuesday: 8am-2pm, Wed: 8am-2pm (20 hours)
- East Greenbush: Tuesday: 5pm-8pm, Wednesday: 5pm-9pm, Thursday: 5pm-10pm, Friday: 5pm-8pm, Sat- 5p-10pm (20 hours)
- Albany: Sunday-Tuesday 9am-9pm (36 hours)
