Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary depending on the needs of the individuals being supported and may include:

• Assisting individuals with daily living activities
• Sustaining community participation and outings
• Transporting individuals to appointments and community activities
• Assisting with personal care and hygiene
• Sustaining meal preparation and household routines
• Monitoring health or medical concerns
• Sustaining independence, communication, and life skills

Transportation Requirement (Essential Job Function)

Because individuals are supported in community-based activities, staff must transport individuals in their personal vehicles during their work shift. Mileage is reimbursed at $0.70 per mile.
