Direct Support Professional Residential - Floater

Who we're looking for

We are looking for caring, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work full time in a Residential setting. The DSP Floater will provide coverage to residences throughout the Capital Region. We need someone who is willing meet and learn about a variety of different people, and travel to where they are needed.

Requirements

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Successful Candidates Will be positive and encouraging with those they support
• Be professional
• Have patience and a positive attitude
• Have a strong desire to help others
• Enjoy teamwork
• A valid NYS license and clean driving record required
• Ability to lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Help the people who live there by assisting them in activities, like:
  • Cooking
  • Doing laundry
  • Running errands
  • Teach people with disabilities how to do things on their own
• Job Duties May Include:
  • Taking individuals to appointments and activities
  • Writing notes as needed
  • Helping individuals with tasks like cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping, and managing money
  • Other duties as needed

Pay

Pay Range: $19.45-$25.05/hr and an Elite Benefit Package. Rate based on verifiable direct care experience & range reflects 20+ years of experience/education.

Schedule

• Sunday - Wednesday: Hours determined by program need
• Tuesday - Saturday: Hours determined by program need
