Direct Support Professional Residential Floater

Our residential programs located in Albany and Ravena, NY have a full‑time, 40‑hour Residential DSP Floater position available. The Residential Floater DSP supports and cares for people with intellectual or other developmental disabilities. Duties may include assisting individuals with getting ready for the day or going to bed, cooking, cleaning, medication assistance, and participating in social/recreational activities in the community – and simply having fun while making a difference.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living tasks such as dressing, grooming, and bedtime routines.
• Prepare and serve meals, and maintain a clean living environment.
• Provide medication assistance as needed.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities both on‑site and in the community.
• Maintain driver insurability and required certifications (AMAP, insulin, G‑tube) when applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• No prior experience necessary.

Pay

$23.00 per hour plus longevity increase. This is an hourly, non‑exempt position.
