Direct Support Professional - Part Time Weekends

About the role

The NEEDS Center is a company dedicated to providing support services to adults with developmental disabilities in group residence homes. We currently have openings for Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) who will assist and support the adults in our care.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and supporting individuals in daily routines.
• Providing hands-on personal care to adults with developmental disabilities.
• Implement clinical, educational, and vocational programs.
• Observe and record data for programs established in their Individual and Behavior Support Plans.
• Participate with other team members to create a therapeutic environment that includes regular community membership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Empathy and a willingness to help adults with developmental disabilities.
• Experience with behavior management preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Able to work as part of a diverse team.

Pay

Hourly rate is $15.00-$16.00 per hour.

Schedule

Available schedules are: DAYS, OVERNIGHTS, and DOUBLE SHIFTS (if preferred).
