Direct Support Professional II

Starting pay is $20.50/hour for awake hours (additional $1.00 differential for active MAP certification); $17.50/hour for asleep hours. Per Diem Support Advocate is a direct support professional (DSP) position at Seven Hills Foundation, acting as a caregiver for individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, or acquired brain injuries (ABI or TBI).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day services to program participants.
• Assist and/or teach individuals varying levels of personal care (e.g., bathing, toileting, teeth brushing).
• Assist and/or teach household maintenance, meal prep, and shopping, fostering independence.
• Accompany individuals to appointments as needed.
• Administer medications or support self-medication per residential guidelines.
• Follow individual routines, including Behavior Support Plans, personal care, and Physical Therapy.
• Support individuals with disabilities to fully participate in their community and lives.
