About the role

The Adult Ability Center (AAC) is dedicated to helping adults with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities build independence, confidence, and meaningful life experiences. Direct Support Professionals play a vital role in this mission by supporting clients in various activities, fostering relationships, and assisting with personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Help clients practice cooking skills
• Explore community activities with clients
• Support emotional regulation strategies
• Work towards employment goals
• Attend music or art activities
• Celebrate small wins with clients

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification (post-hire if needed)
• Valley de-escalation certification (as required)
• Driving positions require a minimum age of 21 and a valid driver's license

Pay

Range starts at $17/hour (pay is calculated based on years of related experience)

Monday-Friday | 8:30am-4:30pm
