Witco is a human service organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities. Incorporated since 1974, Witco is one of the original organizations dedicated to this service, and proudly one of few to retain a not-for-profit status.

Responsibilities

Direct Support Professionals establish safe and favorable living conditions in residential and group home settings. Key duties include:

• Assisting group home residents in living more independently and achieving their full potential
• Offering care, assistance, and support
• Providing a variety of in-home support such as food prep, assisting with domestic tasks, medication administration, financial management, community access, doctor visits, job search, and moral support
• Aiding with mobility, eating, drinking, bathing, toileting, hygiene, and personal care

Qualifications

Requirements include:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clear driving record
• Dependable and reliable with excellent attendance
