Direct Support Professional - FT Overnight

About the role

At Gallagher Services - a Catholic Charities program, we believe that every person deserves a life filled with meaning, independence, and relationships that matter. We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who values people for who they are and is excited to walk alongside adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they engage in the activities they love and pursue their goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with care for a group that enjoys hearing stories, going out to eat, and attending community events.
• Provide full support with daily routines: total hygiene care, cooking, cleaning, laundry, housekeeping.
• Transport individuals to and from day programs and doctor’s appointments.
• Administer medication and maintain clear, respectful records.
• Promote independence, advocate for each person’s rights, and help build confidence and sense of self.
• Be patient and respectful in action and speech.

Schedule

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 11 PM – 9 AM.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 points.
• Comfortable driving agency vehicles and assisting people who use wheelchairs.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and provide physical assistance when needed.
• Completion of a Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete).

Pay

Pay Range: $20.00 to $20.50 per hour (depending on experience).
