About the role
This role is a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Float—a dynamic, flexible team member who is excited to jump in wherever support is needed. This role has consistent weekly hours, but not a fixed assignment each day. You’ll work across our programs, supporting individuals with disabilities in meaningful, community-centered ways.
Responsibilities
- Driving individuals to and from work or community activities
- Serving as a Bus Aide to ensure safe, supportive transportation
- Helping in High-Needs Areas, offering personalized, hands-on support, including personal hygiene cares
- Working in Program & Workroom Areas, assisting with daily activities or skill-building
- Job Coaching, helping individuals succeed in their employment
Requirements
- A team player with a positive, “jump right in” attitude
- Someone comfortable moving between programs and tasks
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to drive agency vehicles (training provided)
- Reliability, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others succeed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
