About the Role

KenCrest Services is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential programs. Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and household routines
• Provide encouragement and support that helps individuals achieve their personal goals

Schedule & Pay

• Full-Time (30+ hrs/week), Part-Time, and PRN opportunities available
• Day, evening, and weekend shifts available
• Starting Pay: $18.50/hr | $19.25/hr with CT Medical Certification

Training Requirement

Must be able to attend mandatory New Employee Orientation training Monday through Friday, plus an additional Monday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Paid training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record required
• Minimum of 2 years licensed driving experience required
• Advanced ability to convey, understand, and follow spoken and written instructions in English required
• Experience with individuals with IDD preferred, but willing to train otherwise qualified candidates
• Certification in medication administration, first aid, and CPR preferred (KenCrest provides PAID training to all new hires)
• Must clear criminal record and other background checks in accordance with state requirements
