About the role
As a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide personalized support in the individual's home and throughout the community. Each day may include:
- Helping individuals learn and practice everyday life skills
- Supporting community outings, appointments, and recreational activities
- Encouraging independence while providing guidance and supervision
- Assisting with personal care when necessary
- Building trusting relationships with individuals and their families
- Working with your Care Coordinator to help individuals reach their personal goals
No two individuals are alike, making every day engaging, meaningful, and rewarding.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to children and adults with developmental disabilities
- Assist individuals in gaining confidence, developing new skills, and living more independent lives
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Successful completion of paid training provided by Endeavor
