Direct Support Professional (DSP) swing shift
A Little About Us
We are dedicated to providing quality support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Alternative Services - Oregon, Inc. (ASI-OR) has one goal in mind: Supporting People to Experience Meaningful Lives.
A Day in the Life of a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), your afternoon shift kicks off with a warm greeting to the people you support, where catching up on their day feels like catching up with family. The excitement unfolds as you head out for delightful excursions—whether it's a stroll through the park, a fun trip to the store, or indulging in ice cream. Once back at the house, you'll dive into making dinner together, sharing laughs around the table, and enjoying favorite evening activities, from watching shows to engaging in friendly games. As the night winds down, you'll support in routine evening routines and light housekeeping.
