Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Part Time Permanent

About the role

Help people with disabilities and autism live more independently while building a meaningful career with a supportive local nonprofit. Locations include Chapel Hill, Durham, Morrisville, Cary, and Raleigh—we serve people throughout the Triangle.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with disabilities and autism in daily living activities and community engagement
• Provide transportation for individuals using your own reliable vehicle (must maintain valid auto insurance and be listed as an insured driver on the policy)
• Complete online documentation after each shift

Schedule

• Part-time: 10–30 hrs/week
• Shifts: 2–6 hours; varied schedule
• Setting: People’s homes, work sites, community locations, or day program (assigned based on need)
• Extra hours available: Fill-in shifts for additional pay

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (documentation required)
• Valid driver’s license
• Registered, insured vehicle (you must be listed as an insured driver)
