About the role

We are hiring Direct Support Professionals in Cherry Hill, NJ. Bancroft provides services for individuals with autism, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. We seek professionals passionate about providing quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Empower adults to develop skills for daily life
  • Encourage independence through personalized care plans
  • Plan events and outings to build the Bancroft community
  • Communicate with residents, families, and guardians
  • Belong to a supportive team that holds one another accountable

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends
  • Current driver's license in good standing

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong desire to work with autistic, intellectually and/or developmentally disabled individuals
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

Skills

  • Passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Willingness to learn new skills
