Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Overnight Full Time
About the role
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) within our Adult Residential North program, you’ll empower individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities to realize their best life. Bancroft is a leading service-provider for children and adults with autism, other intellectual or developmental disabilities or those in need of neurological rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Empower adults to develop skills for daily life
- Encourage their independence through personalized plans of care
- Plan events and outings to build the Bancroft community
- Belong to a supportive team that holds one another accountable
- Communicate with residents, families, and guardians
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Work well in teams and are open to learning new skills
- Have the ability and willingness to work weekends
- Have a current driver's license in good standing
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
Skills
- Compassionate and empathetic care
- Strong desire to work with autistic, intellectually, and/or developmentally disabled individuals
- Ability to handle physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging situations

Hourly rate: $19.06 - $19.44/hr
Schedule
Full-Time, Sunday-Wednesday, 11:30 PM - 9:30 AM
