Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

About the role

We are a mission-driven team dedicated to providing person-centered supports to individuals with various disabilities. Our team works directly with people to help them live independently while respecting their dignity and choices.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance to individuals with disabilities.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Aid with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, and more.

Qualifications

• Person-centered, patient, and kind.

• Observant and detail-oriented.
• A positive role model who can work collaboratively with others.
• Committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
• At least 18 years old.
• A successful background clearance is required for employment.
• Good communication skills are essential for documenting care, following support plans, and collaborating with internal and external team members.
