Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

About the role

We are a mission-driven team dedicated to providing person-centered supports to individuals with various disabilities. Our services are available nationwide, and we are looking for Direct Support Professionals/Caregivers to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, and more

Qualifications

• Person-centered, patient, and kind

• Observant and detail-oriented
• Able to work positively as a role model and collaboratively
• Committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment
• Computer skills for documentation
• Valid driver's license required (due to transporting persons served)
• Candidates must be comfortable driving to transport persons served as required

Pay and Schedule

• $15/hr - $16.75
• Multiple shifts available in Gary, Merrillville, Valparaiso, and Hobart
