Direct Support Professional (DSP) – $18.40/hr Pro Care by Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Allegan, MI to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This is meaningful, hands-on work where you help someone build independence, confidence, and live a fuller life. Available Shifts We are looking for full time or part time depending on client and staff availability. We will work with your schedule! What You’ll Do: As a DSP, you’ll support individuals in their everyday routines while helping them grow and make their own choices: Assist with daily routines like meals, hygiene, and household tasksEncourage independence and decision-makingSupport community involvement and positive social interactionsMonitor safety and teach safety awarenessHelp individuals recognize triggers and build coping skillsCreate a supportive, positive environmentFollow care plans and document services You’ll receive training on each client so you can provide personalized, meaningful care.
