Direct Support Professional (DSP)

About the role

We provide support to adults living with intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to help them live their highest quality of life and maintain excellent person-centered supports and services.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in achieving their goals and aspirations
• Maintain person-centered supports and services
• Work closely with families and other service providers to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• Related experience
• Basic computer skills
• A current Virginia driver license

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities

Pay

• The ideal hourly compensation is $17.00 - $19.00

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Work schedules include 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.
